VISION statement:
"Create the economic, social, management, political and governance framework conditions that enable innovative development of sustainable aquaculture for future food and nutrition security, viable companies and livelihoods within Europe's coastlines and freshwater aquatic resources".
Identified KEY GOALS:
- Promote effective governance – establishing a 'level playing field' for aquaculture within and outside Europe
- Establish an enabling environment for innovation and growth to allow aquaculture to realise its full potential
- Understand better the social and economic dimensions of aquaculture at different scales
